a Fox in the woods Necklace from Reclaimed Wood, fox pendant, recycled jewelry by nicandthenewfie

this lovely fox pendant has been cut using Reclaimed Teak from the Fogg Museum at Harvard.

ABOUT THE DESIGN: this is a red fox, drawn from a 1970's magazine i found in a thrift store. once cut and sanded, i paint the head and tail red and seal with a clear finish. brass jumprings attach to the forehead and rump and connect an 18" sterling silver chain.

ABOUT THE WOOD: this amazing teak wood is from THE fogg museum in cambridge! originally flooring from one of the galleries, my pop acquired a small quantity for personal use. it's perfect for these pendants because teak is very strong with interesting grain and in this case, is reclaimed wood. this pendant is made from solid, reclaimed teak.
