Bacchus Green Man in a Verdigris finish, wall art, garden decoration, cast stone, keystone, architectural sculpture, copper face by CastShadows

The Bacchus Green Man shown here is typical of a very popular type of ornament used on old buildings, that was made from sheets of copper formed into molds. These became very popular because of being light weight and fire proof! When exposed to the weather, these metal ornaments developed a beautiful blue green patina, called verdigris, which helped protect the metal underneath from further oxidation.
From high up on a building, he would look down and smile …watching the world go by!

This piece perfect accessory for any Gothic Garden or Renaissance room. It is handmade from my original sculpture, created in 2011, and finished to have the look of Verdigris copper, giving the feel that it's a piece of architectural salvage, only smaller.

This sculpture is cast in a very strong polymer modified gypsum cement with stone aggregates. It has the feel and strength of stone. It has a recessed hanger so that it hangs flat on the wall.
For both interior and exterior use.

The sculpture measures approximately 3 1/2" high by 3 5/8" wide by 2 1/4" deep.

Your "Bacchus Green Man" will ship in a recycled box, ready for giving or the perfect treat for yourself.

Because of the handmade nature of each sculpture, some slight variations are to be expected such as very small trace air bubbles in the surface. Rest assured, your piece will be beautiful and unique!
