This acoustic folk event presents a rare opportunity to hear Claudia Schmidt, Sally Rogers, and Howie Bursen all on stage stage. These three incredible musicians have been featured together and separately on NPR’s “A Prairie Home Companion” as well as concerts performed throughout the nation over the past 40+ years.

This is a trio not to be missed on the rare occasion they perform together!

Sally Rogers and Claudia Schmidt have four joint recordings. Their many solo albums have been praised and played by local listeners, radio DJs, and concert venues alike.

Howie Bursen is known for his warm baritone voice and recognized as one of the finest clawhammer banjo players in the county. He has joined his wife, Sally Rogers, on two duo recordings as well as on several of her own solo albums. He has four solo albums of his own, two of which are on Smithsonian/Folkways.
