This class will help you develop confidence with the pastel medium, including building a strong composition, understanding values, creating light and shadow, and developing cohesive color harmony to develop a strong painting from start to finish. Various underpainting techniques will be introduced. Students may use reference photos have taken yourself or paint from life. All levels of experience are welcome!
