1. INTRODUCTION. What’s New Local takes your privacy very seriously, and takes many steps to protect any personal information we may hold as a result of our interaction with you. If we update this policy, we will revise the date noted at the top of this policy, place notices on What’s New Local website and mobile apps if changes are material and/or obtain your consent as required by law.

As a general rule, no personal information (i.e. name, address, telephone number, e-mail address) is automatically collected from users of the Website or What’s New Local mobile apps who are not listing with us. However, when you create a listing, you may supply personal information and there may be other circumstances where you voluntarily supply personal information. In the event you do provide us with personal information, we make good faith efforts to store data securely and ensure that this information will be kept secure and confidential. This information will be used for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy and/or for any other purposes made known to the users at the time the information is collected.

In order for you to use What’s New Local’s services, we need some of your personal data so that we can identify you amongst all of our other users when we may:

3. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY. We take safety very seriously and have limited use of What’s New Local only to persons 18 years of age or older. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at report@whatsnewlocal.com. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our files.

- Advertising on our website is through means of user listings and/or user-generated blog posts which may contain links to other websites beyond our control. At our sole discretion, What’s New Local may also include links to other third-party advertisements, through such means as Google Ads or affiliate programs.
- We never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Our standard communications with you are limited to website-related features and updates. From time to time, we may also present you with a voluntary survey or questionnaire about our current or possible future services or products that asks for non-personal information from you.
- Any promotional and marketing communications with you are provided on an “opt-in/opt-out” basis. Promotional newsletters sent on behalf of What’s New Local may feature current user listings and/or additional services provided by Next Door Creations, LLC.
- It is your responsibility to review privacy policies of any third-party sites you may access through links on What’s New Local’s website and mobile apps.
- If you use a shared computer to access the Website, you should always make sure you log out of your browser once you have finished accessing the website to protect your personal information.
5. DATA WE USE TO PROVIDE OUR SERVICES. Certain data collection is necessary to provide our Services. Data may be used for the following purposes: (i) to provide and improve our services, features, and content; (ii) to administer your use of our Services and your account; (iii) to enable users to enjoy and easily navigate our website and mobile apps; (iv) to better understand your needs and interests; (v) to fulfill requests you may make; (vi) to personalize your experience; (vii) to provide service or website or mobile-app related announcements; (viii) to provide you with further information and offers from What’s New Local. - Data you post. Data you post or send via WhatsNewLocal.com or What’s New Local mobile apps, send to us directly via email or postal mail, or through other websites

When we confirm your order we will show only the last four numbers of the credit or debit card used to pay for the purchase. We transmit the full card details as required by the appropriate credit/debit card company when processing the order and payment and will check the payment details provided are valid. You consent to such checks being made. In performing these security checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency. They may keep a record of that information. These checks are performed only to confirm your identity and that the payment details provided are valid.
- Data you submit to us. Data you submit or provide to us (e.g. name, address, email, phone, photos, tax ID, StripeConnect ID)
- Log Files. As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files.
