2nd Floor Studio

Brian Tracy started painting with oils in high school in the mid sixties. The seventies was an art free period, then he started painting with watercolor in the eighties making Christmas cards. After retirement in the late nineties he went back to school and got a Fine Arts degree from the University of Connecticut.

He now paints in both oil and watercolor with a focus on landscapes. Farms and their barns and outbuildings are of particular interest because they are disappearing at an alarming rate. Many of the buildings included in his paintings are gone now, so he wants to paint as many as possible while they are still standing. He also likes to paint portraits, mill buildings, and animals.
