Careforth

Candice Brown is a Senior Account Manager with Careforth, a caregiver support company that helps families safely care for aging loved ones at home. Careforth provides clinical guidance, education, emotional support, care planning, and financial assistance for eligible family caregivers through Connecticut’s Adult Family Living program. Our goal is to reduce caregiver burnout, improve quality of life, and help older adults remain safely at home for as long as possible.

In my role, I work directly with healthcare providers, community organizations, and families to connect caregivers with resources and support services. I also help educate the community about caregiver wellness, available programs, and the importance of supporting family caregivers who are often the backbone of care at home. As someone who was also a caregiver for my own mother, this work is very personal to me, and I’m passionate about helping caregivers feel seen, supported, and less alone
