A home inspection is a visual survey of every major system and component in the house, including the roof, exterior, foundation and grading, attic and insulation, interior ceilings, walls and floors, doors and windows, major appliances, heating and cooling, electrical and plumbing systems, and many other items. After the inspection a detailed written report, not just a computer-generated checklist, is created for the customer. The report is completed and mailed within 48 hours. Complete email and fax service is available and the report can be e-mailed or faxed to you or your realtor. Some additional services, such as water testing, require a few days for processing by a laboratory.
