Marylin Makuch

I have been beading for about 13 years. At first, my creations were simple earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. Now I have expanded to household objects such as fan pulls, cheese boards and home d├ęcor. I have learned French knitting, Viking knitting, Kumihimo (a Japanese form of weaving), a little Chain Mail, along with wire wrapping, wire weaving, and more. I have fun wrapping or just beading finished semiprecious stones, rough stones, glass, sea glass, beach stones, crystal, pearls, wood, and acrylic beads, etc. Some designs are classic, funky, delicate, or not so delicate. I use different colors and sizes and make-up of wire and metal beads from copper, silver, silver plate, gold plate, and more.
I enjoy doing repairs and special orders. I also take pleasure in the people, both adults and children, who stop in and browse and chat or learn to make their own pieces. The peace of my studio is my delight.
